The hanging body of Sushant Singh Rajput, one of India’s most popular new generation film actors, has been recovered. Police initially thought he had committed suicide. Bandra’s body was found hanging from his neck in his home in Mumbai on Sunday.
Mumbai Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Kumar Sharma confirmed the news to BBC Hindi. It is learned that the housemaid found her hanging body and informed the police. Mr. Singh has been suffering from depression for some time.
In the beginning, Sushant Singh Rajput entered the world of media through small screen, but later he showed a lot of success in film. Sushant, who started his film career with ‘Kai Po Che’ in 2013, also acted in Aamir Khan’s superhit film ‘Pike’. However, he came to the notice of everyone by playing the lead role in the biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
