নাদিম নেওয়াজ আহমেদ। ফ্যাশন ও ওয়েডিং ফটোগ্রাফার। সিলেটের পরিচিত মুখ। নিন্দুকের দৃস্টি ভেঙ্গে দিয়ে জায়গা করে নিয়েছেন বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশে অনুষ্ঠিত সুন্দরী প্রতিযোগিতার বিউটি পেজেন্ট এর অফিসিয়াল ফটোগ্রাফার ও এনা-লাইসিস্ট হিসেবে। কাজ করে চলেছেন বেশ ক’বছর ধরে।

Involved as the main photographer of big beauty pageants like Miss Super Talent of the World, Miss South East-Asia, Supermodel International, Miss Cosmopolitan World. FFFW, Miss Planet International etc.
শুরুর সময়টা ২০০৭ সাল। অল্প পরিসরে ওয়েডিং ফটোগ্রাফি দিয়ে শুরু। তারপর দেশের গন্ডি পেরিয়ে ২০১১ সালের দিকে জায়গা করে নেন প্রথম বার থাইল্যান্ডে হয়ে যাওয়া এক সুন্দরী প্রতিযোগীতার অফিসিয়াল ফটোগ্রাফার হিসেবে। তারপর আর পিছনে ফিরে তাকাতে হয়নি। একে একে আসতে থাকে বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে অফিসিয়াল ফটোগ্রাফার হওয়ার অফার। জড়িয়ে পড়েন মিস্ সুপার টেলেন্ট অফ দ্যা ওর্য়াল্ড, মিস্ সাউথ ইস্ট-এশিয়া, সুপারমডেল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল, মিস্ কসমোপলিটন ওর্য়াল্ড এর মতো বড় বড় সুন্দরী প্রতিযোগীতার মূল ফটোগ্রাফার হিসেবে নিয়োগ।
When Nadim Ahmed, who lives in Sylhet, was asked about the beginning of photography, he said that he took the camera in his uncle’s hand. The first camera is Canon T-60. I used to take pictures in different programs of my family as a hobby. Everyone encouraged. My expatriate uncle also used to show me sometimes in the country. Sometimes I would make a model with two sisters on the roof of the house. This is just the beginning. Then proceed little by little. And going to Dhaka to learn by hand. If Mama hadn’t been by my side and encouraged me at that time, I probably wouldn’t have been able to get to this stage. There is no end to learning here. I’m still learning. When I have time, I collect books on good model photography.
সিলেট শহরে বসবাস করা নাদিম আহমেদ এর কাছে ফটোগ্রাফির শুরুর কথা জানতে গেলে বলেন, আমার মেজ মামার হাত ধরেই মুলত ক্যামেরা হাতে নেয়া। প্রথম ক্যামেরা ক্যানন টি-৭০। শখের বসেই নিজের ফ্যামেলির বিভিন্ন প্রোগামে ছবি তুলতাম। সবাই উৎসাহ দিত। আমার প্রবাসি মামাও আমাকে দেখিয়ে দিতেন মাঝে মাঝে দেশে আসলে। মাঝে মাঝে দুই বোন কেই বাসার ছাদে নিয়ে মডেল বানাতাম। এইতো শুরু। তারপর একটু একটু করে এগিয়ে যাওয়া। এবং ঢাকায় গিয়ে হাতে কলমে শিক্ষা নেয়া। ঔ সময় যদি মামা আমার পাশে না থাকতেন এবং উৎসাহ না দিতেন হয়তো আমি এ পর্যায়ে যেতে পারতাম না। এখানে শেখার কোন শেষ নেই। এখনো আমি শিখে যাচ্ছি। সময় পেলেই ভাল ভাল মডেল ফটোগ্রাফির উপর খোজ খবর নিয়ে বই সংগ্রহ করি।
The first offer comes from Miss Super Model of Asia Pacific. Whose host country was Thailand. Since then I have had the privilege of working with various companies including Face of Beauty, Miss Cosmopolitan, Supermodel International, Southeast Asia, Super Talent. And also has the experience to work with a lot of foreign models. Along with that he got certificates and trophies of the programs that have been successfully completed in different countries.
প্রথম আর্ন্তজাতিক ভাবে কাজের অভিগত্যা সমর্কে বলেন প্রথম অফার আসে মিস সুপার মডেল অফ এশিয়া পেসিফিক থেকে। যার হোস্ট কান্ট্রি ছিল থাইল্যান্ড। তার পর ধিরে ধিরে ফেইস অফ বিউটি, মিস কস্মোপলিটন, সুপারমডেল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল, সাউসইস্ট এশিয়া, সুপার টেলেন্ট সহ বিভিন্ন কোম্পানির সাথে কাজ করার সৌভাগ্য হয়েছে। এবং সেই সাথে প্রচুর বিদেশি মডেলদের সাথে নিয়ে কাজের অভিগত্যাও আছে ঝুলিতে। সেই সাথে পেয়েছেন বিভিন্ন দেশে সফল ভাবে শেষ করে আসা অনুষ্ঠানের সার্টিফিকেট ও ট্রফি।
I gained experience in working in different countries under the banner of “Nadim’s Photography” which I developed. And that source has been taken in different countries like Turkey, Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Singapore, Indonesia. He has recently received offers from India, Egypt, South Africa and Egypt to work as an official photographer. But everything is stuck to Ethan for Corona. Now the wait is just time and opportunity.
নিজের গড়ে তোলা “নাদিমস্ ফটোগ্রাফি”র ব্যানারে বিভিন্ন দেশের কাজের অভিগ্যতা লাভ করি। আর সেই সূত্র ধরে যাওয়া হয়েছে তুরস্ক, জাপান, চায়না, দ: কোরিয়া, থাইল্যান্ড, মালয়শিয়া, ইন্ডিয়া, সিঙ্গাপুর, ইন্দোনেশিয়া এর মতো বিভিন্ন দেশে। ইতি মধ্যে ইন্ডিয়া, ইজিপ্ট, সাউথ আফ্রিকা ও মিশর থেকেও অফিসিয়াল ফটোগ্রাফার হিসেবে কাজ করার অফার পেয়েছেন। তবে করোনার জন্য সব কিছু এথন আটকে আছে। এখন অপেক্ষা শুধু সময় আর সুযোগ।
Asked about the type of work, Nadim said covering beauty pageants can sometimes be a difficult time for me. There are different stages of beauty pageant. One such step is the Miss Photogenic Award. Miss Photogenic is to be found among the best beauties from around 50/60 countries of the world. Sometimes I have to do this work. Since I have to be an official photographer and analyst in various programs, then I have to fulfill this difficult responsibility. Who will I give the Miss Photogenic Award to?
কাজের ধরন সর্ম্পকে জানতে গেলে নাদিম জানান সুন্দরী প্রতিযোগীতা কাভার করা আমার জন্য মাঝে মাঝে এটা কঠিন সময় পার করা বলতে পারেন। সুন্দরী প্রতিযোগীতার বিভিন্ন ধাপ থাকে। তেমনি একটি ধাপ মিস্ ফটোজেনিক এওর্য়াড। বিশ্বের প্রায় ৫০/৬০ টা দেশ থেকে আসা সেরা সুন্দরীদের থেকে বের করতে হয় মিস্ ফটোজেনিক। এ কাজ টা মাঝে মাঝে আমাকেও করতে হয়েছে। যেহেতু আমি বিভিন্ন প্রোগ্রামে অফিসিয়াল ফটোগ্রাফার ও এনালাইসিস্ট হিসেবে থাকতে হয় সে হিসেবে তখন আমাকেই এই কঠিন দায়িত্ব পার করতে হয় কাকে দিব মিস্ ফটোজেনিক এওর্য়াড।
For newcomers, he said: Having a DSLR camera does not mean being a photographer. For this we need pursuit and labor. The more you focus on this, the more you can create yourself here. There are huge opportunities in this fashion sector. It has to be realized with respect, labor and pursuit. You have to learn here all the time.
নতুনদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলেন : ডি.এস.এল.আর ক্যামেরা থাকা মানেই ফটোগ্রাফার হওয়া নয়। এর জন্য চাই সাধনা ও শ্রম। যতো বেশি এ বিষয়ে মনোনিবেশ করা যাবে ঠিক ততোটাই নিজেকে তৈরি করা যাবে এখানে। বিশাল সুযোগ আছে এই ফ্যাশন সেক্টরে। সম্মান শ্রম আর সাধনা দিয়েই তা আদায় করে নিতে হবে। প্রতিনিয়তই এখানে শিখে যেতে হবে।
